An interdisciplinary team of physicians works closely to fully evaluate new patients. For the ease of referring physicians and patients, the Cancer Institute coordinates a full array of diagnostic tests through a single point of contact. When tests are completed, the Cancer Institute specialists discuss the results and treatment options with referring physicians to develop the optimal treatment plan.

For a complete consultation, new patients should bring with them films of all available imaging studies (plain x-ray, CT, MRI, bone scan, etc.) as well any pathology slides, if any.
